A considered approach
No fixed formula. No hurried schedule. Every visit is privately arranged around you, the season and the natural rhythm of the land.
We offer a small number of experiences each year, bringing together trusted local ground, experienced guides and Phloxhaven, our comfortable countryside cottage in the Broadland village of Reedham. Whether you are an experienced stalker, entirely new to the field, or simply want to observe and photograph wildlife, the pace and focus are yours.
Choose your pace
Private guided outings across carefully selected ground and well managed estates in Norfolk and Suffolk, arranged around the season, conditions and your experience.
Unhurried time in the field for those who would rather watch, understand and photograph deer in their natural landscape.
Guided walking, clay pigeon shooting and seasonal fishing, including pike fishing, can be woven naturally into a wider stay.
Stalking may include muntjac, roe, Chinese water deer, red and other available UK deer species, excluding sika. Estate rifles can be provided where required.
Stay at Phloxhaven
Settle into a quiet countryside property, well placed for flexible early starts, evening outings and easy access to the surrounding ground.
Arrive at Phloxhaven, settle in and discuss the plan before an evening outing on local ground.
An early start before first light and a morning stalk, time to rest over breakfast, then a second outing or a complementary countryside activity.
Where conditions and plans allow, a final morning in the field followed by breakfast before you leave.
Every itinerary is indicative and adapted to weather, wildlife movement, availability and your preferences.
What matters here
One point of contact, careful coordination and a plan made for your party.
Safety, sound wildlife management and respect for the ground guide every outing.
Numbers are deliberately limited to protect both the experience and the places we visit.
